Features on iPhone & iPad
What can I do in GraceSpace on iPhone?
On iPhone and iPad, GraceSpace is the full app: a daily verse and devotional, the Pray tab, Spaces prayer groups, 750+ audio episodes, grace-based streaks, a private journal, Home Screen widgets and a Bible reader that works offline.
What is the Today screen in GraceSpace?
Today is your daily starting point: a verse, a short devotional and a guided prayer from a 365-day plan. You can share the day's verse or add it to your Home Screen as a widget.
What is the Pray tab?
Pray is a short guided prayer around a single candle. You pick a line that matches what's on your heart, read one verse, breathe with it, then hold to say Amen to a short prayer you can carry into the day. It follows the time of day and the church year.
What if I don't know what to pray?
In Pray, choose "I don't have words" or "Give me a prayer", and GraceSpace will guide you with a verse and a short prayer. You can also choose "Say it your way" to put it in your own words.
What is Spaces?
Spaces matches you into a small group of up to 7 people who pray for and encourage each other. Chats are moderated, you can report or block anyone, and everyone accepts the community guidelines first.
Does GraceSpace have audio devotionals?
Yes. The iPhone app has a library of more than 750 cinematic audio episodes, with faith stories and scripture reflections for a commute, a walk or winding down.
How do grace-based streaks work?
If you miss a day, your streak bends instead of breaking, so one missed morning never wipes out your progress. Each day's devotion has three steps: Daily Verse, Scripture Game for verse memory, and Guided Prayer.
Does GraceSpace have a journal and widgets?
Yes. On iPhone and iPad you get a private journal for your prayers and reflections, and Home Screen widgets that put the day's verse in front of you.
Can I read the Bible offline in GraceSpace?
Yes. The Bible reader on iPhone and iPad includes the King James Version and the World English Bible, and it works offline.
What happens in GraceSpace during Advent?
From November 29 to December 24, 2026, the candle in Pray becomes an Advent wreath of three violet candles and one rose, and one more is lit each Sunday. Scripture and prayers follow the season. Read about Advent 2026.
Is Pray accessible?
Yes. Pray supports VoiceOver, Dynamic Type and Reduce Motion on iPhone and iPad.
Features on Android
What does GraceSpace do on Android?
On Android, GraceSpace is a gentle AI faith guide you can chat with any time. It helps you pray, understand Bible verses, ask faith questions, reflect on your day and study Scripture. A few short questions at sign-up fit it to your faith journey, your goals and your preferred Bible translation.
What are the six modes in GraceSpace for Android?
The six modes are Spiritual Advice, Prayer Assistant, Verse Explanation, Faith Questions, Daily Reflection and Bible Study. You pick one at the top of the chat, and it shapes how the guide answers.
Is the Android app the same as the iPhone app?
No. The iPhone and iPad app is the full GraceSpace experience, with the daily devotional, Pray, Spaces, audio episodes, streaks, journal and widgets. The Android app is focused on the AI faith guide.
AI & safety
Does GraceSpace use AI?
Yes, and we say so openly. On iPhone, guided prayers and audio devotionals are crafted with the help of AI, and AI in Pray is opt-in. On Android, the faith guide itself is AI.
Does AI write the Bible verses in GraceSpace?
No. On iPhone every verse is quoted word for word, and Pray's AI can only use verses from a fixed allowlist. On Android the AI guide explains Scripture in its own words and can make mistakes, so check important passages in your Bible.
Can I use GraceSpace without AI?
Yes, on iPhone: AI in Pray is opt-in with a clear disclosure, and with AI off Pray uses a written prayer library instead. On Android the faith guide is an AI chat, so it always uses AI.
Is the GraceSpace guide a pastor?
No. The guide is AI. It can make mistakes, and it never claims to be a pastor or to speak for God. For big decisions, please also talk with someone you trust or a local church.
What if an AI reply is wrong?
On Android, long-press the reply to report it so we can review it. The guide can make mistakes, so treat its answers as a starting point, not the final word.
What happens if I tell GraceSpace I'm not okay?
On iPhone, if you say you're not okay, Pray checks in with you and shows crisis resources. If you are in danger, call your local emergency number now.
Scripture & beliefs
Which Bible translations does GraceSpace use?
The Bible reader in the iPhone and iPad app uses the King James Version (KJV) and the World English Bible (WEB), both public-domain translations. In the iPhone app, Scripture is quoted word for word and never generated. On Android you can tell the guide which translation you prefer. Scripture quoted on this website is from the KJV.
Is GraceSpace Catholic or Protestant?
GraceSpace is non-denominational. Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox and evangelical Christians all use it, and during Advent the iPhone app uses liturgical week names for Catholic, Anglican, Lutheran and Methodist users and plain words for everyone else.
Privacy & your account
Does GraceSpace sell my data?
No. GraceSpace never sells your data and shows no ads. Details are in the privacy policy.
Who sees my conversations with the AI?
To write a reply, your message and the recent turns of that conversation are sent over an encrypted connection to GraceSpace's servers and to OpenAI. OpenAI processes them under API terms that do not allow it to train its models on that content.
Where are my Android chats stored?
On Android, your conversation history is stored only on your phone.
How do I delete my GraceSpace account?
Delete it from inside the app, or follow the steps on the delete account page. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription, so cancel that in your iPhone Settings or in Google Play first.
How do I contact GraceSpace?
